Update on Lynn Georger property. This is the property on the Sheyenne River near Cass 6 that allegedly is being
\ damaged by the County culvert that was installed in 1992. The property is eligible for a buyout with Federal Funds. It was
decided by the Commission on September 3 to delay this acquisition to further review the situation and determine the
remaining program dollars. One of the Reed Township properties that was ahead of the Georger property to be acquired
fell out of the program. Specifically the Broudsho's didn't accept the County's buyout offer. This frees up sufficient FEMA
funds to buy the Georger property.
