NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING <br /> <br />Cass County is asking for written and oral views on the 2003 Law Enforcement Block <br />Grant Funds received from the Federal Government for expenditure during the 2003- <br />2004 budget years. The public hearing will be held during the regular session of the <br />Cass County Commission beginning at 3:30 p.m. on August 18, 2003. Such hearing will <br />be held within the Cass County Commission Chambers at the Cass County <br />Courthouse. Written comments will be received through August 18, 2003. <br /> <br />These funds have been awarded to Cass County by the Bureau of Justice Assistance, <br />Office of Justice Programs, U. S. Department of Justice. <br /> <br />Anyone wishing to make comments on the proposed grant expenditures or having other <br />suggested uses within the scope of activities allowable under the Local Law <br />Enforcement Block Grant Program may do so at this time. If additional information is <br />requested, please contact the Cass County Sheriff's Office for a complete description of <br />this project and allowable activities. <br /> <br />Written comments can be mailed to Cass County Commission, P.O.
