You were able to grab Clark McGlynn and pull <br />him to safety on the other side of the river. You then took a life <br />jacket, tied a rope around it, and tossed it to Matthew McGlynn <br />which allowed you to pull him to safety. <br /> <br />Your quick actions with this water rescue saved the lives of these <br />two citizens. <br /> <br />Many times the citizens of Cass County are asked to assist others in <br />emergencies and they are always coming through with very little <br />recognition. Community involvement is what makes Cass County a great <br />county in which to live. <br /> <br />For your heroic assistance to these citizens, I would like to invite <br />you to attend the next Cass County Commission Meeting held on <br />Monday, September 19, at 3:30 p.m. I would like to present you with <br />a North Dakota Peace Officers Association and Lifesaving Award and <br />Certificate of Merit which recognizes you as an outstanding citizen. <br /> <br />Sincerely, <br /> <br />Donald J.
