Wilcox, City Assessor <br />Dorinda Anderson, Business Development Director <br /> <br />RECEIVED <br />AUG 2 2 2005 <br /> <br />August 16, 2005 <br /> <br />CASS COUNTY COMMISSION <br /> <br />Darrell Vanyo, Chairman <br />Cass County Board of Commissioners <br /> <br />Dear Darrell, <br /> <br />In response to your letter dated August 2,2005, the City of West Fargo proposed the <br />following changes to the memorandum of understanding concerning Highway 17 <br />maintenance and improvements for a stretch of three miles between Interstate 94 and 52nd <br />Avenue South. <br /> <br />The transfer of ownership shall occur on October 1,2005. <br /> <br />The City of West Fargo will do winter maintenance and mowing from that date on. <br /> <br />The City of West Fargo will fund 12 of the 52nd Avenue improvements up to a maximum <br />of$125,000. <br /> <br />The payments of the $500,000 from Cass Count to the City of West Fargo will occur <br />during 2005 and 2006. <br /> <br />Cass County and the City of West Fargo will each fund 12 of the local cost of the 32nd <br />Avenue bridge replacement subject to obtaining federal/state funding of the project. <br /> <br />Thank you for your consideration of these changes.
