0"'- ,,- ~ Commission Minutes--May 19, 2003 2588 REGULAR MEETING OF CASS COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS MAY 19, 2003 1. MEETING TO ORDER Chairman Scott Wagner called the meeting to order at 3:30 PM with all members present as follows: John Meyer, Robyn Sorum, Darrell Vanyo, Vern Bennett and Scott Wagner. 2. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE The chairman asked Joyce Schepp to lead the Pledge of Allegiance at this time. 3. MINUTES APPROVED MOTION, passed Mrs. Sorum moved and Mr. Meyer seconded that the minutes of the previous meeting be approved as written. Motion carried. 4. AGENDA, Order approved MOTION, passed Mrs. Sorum moved and Mr. Vanyo seconded to approve the order of the agenda with the following addition to the consent agenda: filling one vacancy on the Vector Control Board. Motion carried. 5. PERMITS FOR SITE AUTHORIZATION, Approved for The Arc. Upper Valley, Inc.: Red River Human Services: National Multiple Sclerosis Society-Dakota Chapter MOTION, passed Mr. Vanyo moved and Mr. Meyer seconded to grant site authorization permits to conduct games of chance under license issued by the North Dakota Attorney General's Office for the period of July 1, 2003, through June 30, 2004, as follows: The Arc, Upper Valley, Inc. at the Club 94 in Casselton; Red River Human Services Foundation in Wild Rice; and the National Multiple Sclerosis Society-Dakota Chapter in Hickson. On roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously. 6. ROAD DEPARTMENT, Authorize chairman to sian purchase order for utility vehicle MOTION, passed Mr. Vanyo moved and Mr. Meyer seconded to authorize the chairman to sign a purchase order for a 2003 Kawasaki Mule utility vehicle, Model 3010, from Wheels, Inc. in the amount of $7,885.00 for the Cass County Highway Department. On roll vote, the motion carried unanimously. 7. PLAT APPROVAL, Granted for South Acres Third Subdivision and Howe Subdivision MOTION, passed Mr. Vanyo moved and Mr. Meyer seconded to grant final plat approval for South Acres Third Subdivision, Section 30, Township 138N, Range 49W in Cass County, North Dakota. On roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously. MOTION, passed Mr. Vanyo moved and Mr. Meyer seconded to grant final plat approval for Howe Subdivision, Section 17, Township 140N, Range 51W in Cass County, North Dakota. On roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously.
