<br />Commission Minutes--August 15, 2005 2949 <br /> <br />REGULAR MEETING OF CASS COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br />AUGUST 15, 2005 <br /> <br />1. MEETING CALLED TO ORDER <br />Chairman Darrell Vanyo called the meeting to order at 3:30 PM with all members present as <br />follows: Scott Wagner, Vern Bennett, Ken Pawluk, Darrell Vanyo and Robyn Sorum. <br /> <br />2. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE <br />Scott Wagner led the Pledge of Allegiance at this time. <br /> <br />3. MINUTES APPROVED <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Wagner moved and Mrs. Sorum seconded that the minutes of the last <br />regular meeting held August 1, 2005, be approved as written. Motion <br />carried. <br /> <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mrs. Sorum moved and Mr. Wagner seconded that the minutes of the <br />August 11 and August 12, 2005 budget meetings be approved as written. <br />Motion carried. <br /> <br />4. AGENDA, Order approved <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mrs. Sorum moved and Mr. Wagner seconded to approve the order of the <br />agenda with the following changes: 1) remove the omitted assessment <br />item for Mark and Bonita Kasowski, as requested by the County Auditor; <br />2) Sheriff's Department grant application on behalf of Youthworks; and 3) <br />Sheriff's Department purchase of service agreement with North Dakota <br />Highway Patrol. On roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />5. WEED CUTTING NOTICE, Authorize publication in official newspaper <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Pawluk moved and Mr. Wagner seconded to authorize publication of <br />the annual notice for weed cutting. On roll call vote, the motion carried <br />unanimously. <br /> <br />6. PLAT APPROVAL, Bierke's First Subdivision <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Pawluk moved and Mr. Wagner seconded that the Cass County Board <br />of Commissioners grant final plat approval for Bjerke's First <br />Subdivision, Section 18, Township 142N, Range 49W in Cass County, <br />North Dakota. On roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />7. AUDITOR'S OFFICE, Receive monthlv financial statement <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Pawluk moved and Mr. Wagner seconded to receive a monthly <br />financial statement from the auditor's office for the month ending July 31, <br />2005. On roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously. <br />
