STAFFING: <br /> <br />Standard V. <br /> <br />Standard VI. <br /> <br /> There shall be responsible personnel management, including: <br /> A. Appropriate processes used in the recruitment, <br /> selection, retention, and termination of homemaker- <br /> home health aides: <br /> B. Written personnel policies, job descriptions, and a wage <br /> scale established for each job category. <br />There shall be training provided to every homemaker-home health <br />aide for all services to be performed. <br /> <br />SERVICE: <br /> <br />Standard VII. There shall be written eligibility criteria for service and procedures for <br /> referral to other resources. <br />Standard VIII. There shall be two essential components of the service provided to <br /> every individual and/or family served: <br /> A. Service of a supervised homemaker-home health aide; <br /> B. Service of professional persons responsible for case <br /> management functions. <br /> <br />COMMUNITY: <br /> <br />Standard IX. <br /> <br />Standard X. <br />Standard XI. <br /> <br />There shall be an active role assumed by the service in an ongoing <br />assessment of community health and welfare needs and in planning <br />to meet these needs. <br />There shall be ongoing interpretation of the service to the community. <br />There shall be evaluation of all aspects of the service. <br /> <br />These standards were set by the National Home Caring Council, Copyright 1981. <br /> <br />The provider assures that the Homemaker Aide has not been convicted of a criminal <br />offense in the past five years and/or not currently on probation or parole. <br /> <br /> <br />
