These discs <br />attach to our ag tractors and are used for reclaiming gravel from the shoulders <br />of our roads that has been pushed off the driving surface by snow removal and <br />general traffic. We currently own one of these reclaimers that was purchased <br />in 1998, which has been used with excellent results. We would like to <br />purchase 2 additional units to have one available at each of our 3 rural shops. <br />Although this was not a budgeted item, the bids received this year for our ag <br />tractors were approx. $33,000 below the budgeted amount, which would cover <br />the purchase amount of the discs.
