METRO FLOOD DIVERSION PROJECT <br /> <br /> <br />TS CONTRACTING RECOMMENDATION_MFDA-HMG-TO09A15_20160202 1 <br />Technical Staff Recommendation Meeting Date: 2/2/2016 <br />RECOMMENDATION FOR ACTION: <br />The Technical Staff have reviewed and recommends approval of the following Contract Action(s). <br />SUMMARY OF CONTRACTING ACTION: <br />The Owner’s Representative prepared the following Contract Action(s) for the Technical Staff team: <br />List description of Contract Action(s): <br />HMG <br />MFDA – Task Order 9, Amendment 15 – Hydrology and Hydraulic Modeling $98,021 <br /> Add budget for additional assistance and support for the USACE Maple River Aqueduct <br />model <br /> Add budget for additional updates and reviews to Phase 8 HEC‐RAS model <br /> Add budget to support the update (expansion of study geography) of the NDSU <br />Agricultural Impacts Study <br /> Reallocated budget from completed subtasks to open and ongoing subtasks <br /> Extend POP of selected subtasks to December 31, 2016 <br /> <br />BACKGROUND: <br />Houston‐Moore Group, LLC (HMG) is the Engineer of Record for the hydrology and hydraulic modeling used to <br />support the design of the proposed flood control improvements. HMG has provided these engineering services <br />under Task Order 9 from June 14, 2012, to the present time. See the table below for a summary of the <br />amendments to the Task Order. <br />This amendment adds budget for subtasks F.I, F.III, F.IV, F.VIII, K, and O from reallocated funds and the addition of <br />$98,021. Budget is de‐allocated from other subtasks, except for F, G, and M, which remain unchanged. <br />In addition, the POP for the following subtasks is extended to December 31, 2016: <br /> C. Evaluation of Channel Size <br /> F. On‐Call Services <br /> F.IV Additional Assistance for the Maple River Aqueduct Physical Model <br /> G. Basin‐Wide Retention Support <br /> K. Phase 8 Model Update <br /> M. Eastern Staging Area Evaluation <br /> O.
