<br />Xcel Energy ADD $700,000 <br />Cost Reimbursement Agreement <br />2nd Street Flood Wall <br />Description: <br />This Cost Reimbursement Agreement directs Excel Energy to convert Xcel’s overhead feeders along 2nd St N <br />in Fargo to underground for the upcoming installation of a flood wall/levee system and road realignment <br />along 2nd St N. The work includes relocation of a utility manhole, relocation of electrical lines from overhead <br />service to underground, installation of three switch centers, installation of power distribution cable and <br />transformer for 2nd Street pump station, and installation of a temporary feeder across the Red River to <br />facilitate the work. <br />Background: <br />Xcel Energy Cost Reimbursement Agreement for 2nd Street N Floodwall conversion of overhead feeders <br />underground and installation of the 2nd Street pump station distribution cable and transformer is <br />anticipated to cover all labor, materials, and commissioning necessary to put this segment of the Xcel <br />Energy lines in service. <br />Recommendation: <br />PMC recommends approval of this Cost Reimbursement Agreement for $700,000. <br /> <br />Xcel Energy ADD $53,641.97 <br />Cost Reimbursement Agreement <br />4th Street High Rise <br />Description: <br />This Cost Reimbursement Agreement directs Xcel Energy, to temporarily relocate the three phase primary <br />cable that is in conflict with the sanitary sewer and floodwall installation. This cable serves the Fargo High <br />Rise at 101 2nd St S Fargo (Work Change Directive, dated May 28, 2015). Once installation of the sewer and <br />floodwall is complete, the three phase cable will be replaced from transformer N to transformer P in the <br />original location to eliminate all of the splices needed to install. As part of this project, the three phase <br />primary will be abandoned and transformer Z will be removed at 100 2nd St S Fargo. <br />Background: <br />Xcel Energy utility lines are in conflict with 2nd Street S Floodwall features and need to be relocated out of <br />the way of the work.
