<br />Commission Minutes--July 18, 2005 2926 <br /> <br />REGULAR MEETING OF CASS COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br />JULY 18, 2005 <br /> <br />1. MEETING CALLED TO ORDER <br />Chairman Darrell Vanyo called the meeting to order at 3:30 PM with members present as <br />follows: Scott Wagner, Vern Bennett, Darrell Vanyo and Robyn Sorum via telephone. Ken <br />Pawluk was absent. <br /> <br />2. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE <br />Bonnie Johnson led the Pledge of Allegiance at this time. <br /> <br />3. MINUTES APPROVED <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Bennett moved and Mr. Wagner seconded that the minutes of the <br />previous meeting be approved as written. Motion carried. <br /> <br />4. AGENDA, Order approved <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Wagner moved and Mr. Bennett seconded to approve the order of the <br />agenda with the addition of a contract for Emergency Communications <br />Network. Motion carried. <br /> <br />5. AUDITOR'S OFFICE, Receive monthlv financial statement <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Bennett moved and Mr. Wagner seconded to receive a monthly <br />financial statement from the auditor's office for the month ending on <br />June 30, 2005. On roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />6. CONTRACT APPROVAL, North Dakota Department of Human Services Parentina <br />Resources Center arant: Cass 20/Clav 22 Red River bridae contract: Emeraencv <br />Communications Network <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Bennett moved and Mr. Wagner seconded to approve the following <br />contracts submitted by respective department head, subject to state's <br />attorney approval, and authorize the chairman to sign: On roll call vote, <br />the motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />North Dakota Department of Human Services-Parenting Resources Center <br />grant agreement for July 1, 2005, through June 30, 2006, and related budget <br />adjustment; <br /> <br />Cass County 20/Clay County 22 Red River Bridge-accept the Cass County <br />20/Clay County 22 Red River Bridge bid and concur with Clay County's award <br />of the contract to Industrial Builders Inc. in the amount of $8,165,469.18; <br /> <br />Emergency Communications Network-UCodeRED ™ Emergency Notification <br />System" for the purpose of communicating matters of public interest and concern at a <br />cost of $38,864.00 for the first year. <br />
