The <br />requests for proposals called lbr an iBM AS400 9406-820 with <br />installation, software lbr three years, maintenance for three years, and <br />conversion o f the RVI data to new optical platters. Summaries of the <br />two bids are as follows: <br /> <br />Itigh Plains Technology <br /> <br />$232,804 <br /> <br />Comtech Group <br /> <br />$241,181 <br /> <br />We are familiar with the technical expertise of hnth bidders are both are <br />well-qualified firms that will be able to install the system with a <br />minimal amoant of disruption to county services. We will have <br />additional costs as at least one application we currently use is not <br />supported on the new system. That application will need to be replaced <br />and modificatthn made to the programs that use the application before <br />wc can install the new system.
