Roberts <br />Addition to the City of Fargo. Motion carried. <br />Mr. Larson moved and Mr. Eckert seconded to pay the County's share of the billing from Polson <br />Architects on the proposed Law Enforcement Center in the amount of $5,742.16, two thirds of which is Cass <br />County's share. On roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously. <br />Mr. Larson moved and Mrs. Stanton seconded that Jim Berglie, Director of the Community Survival <br />Program, be authorized to hire the second of three Homemaker II positions which were approved by the <br />County Social Services Board. On roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously. <br />Correspondence was received from the County Sheriff requesting permission to call <br />new patrol vehicles. Mrs. Stanton moved and Mr. Larson seconded that the Sheriff <br />advertise for bids, and the letting date be set for February 16, 1988. On roll call <br />carried unanimously. <br />A letter from supply dealers regarding a suggested letting date for the <br />Department's supplies was referred to Administrative Assistant Diana Murack. She <br />contact the suppliers because the date they suggested is not a regular meeting date for <br />Correspondence from the North Dakota Association of Counties on maintaining detailed records on gas <br />tax was referred to the Administrative Assistant to discuss with the Sheriff's Office and the County Road <br />Department. <br />Two letters were received recommending the appointment of Wesley Beilke to the Maple River Water <br />Resource Board, and a letter was received requesting consideration for appointment as County Surveyor. <br />Official notification was received from the State Health Department of the Order to Establish Cass <br />County Vector Control District #6, and the members appointed to the Board are as follows: Goodwin Hoff, <br />5 year term; Walter Valovage, 2 year term; and Jeannette Stanton, 3 year term. It appears that the State <br />Health Department will call the first meeting. <br />Concerning liability insurance for Bonanzaville, U.S.A., it was the consensus of the Commissioners <br />present that the Cass County Historical Society or Bonanzaville should be responsible for obtaining and <br />purchasing their own liability insurance.
