Mr. Eckert moved and Mr. Larson seconded to authorize payment <br />of $33,250 to J.E. Krieg Sons as partial payment on the Juvenile <br />Justice Center remodeling, per the request of Architects Clark, Holman <br />Moorhead. On roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously. <br />Mrs. Stanton moved and Mr. Larson seconded to approve final <br />payment to Architects Clark, Holman Moorhead in the amount of <br />$11,867.88 on the Courthouse remodeling project. On roll call vote, <br />the motion carried unanimously. <br />Upon the recommendation of Administrative Assistant Scott <br />Krueger, Mr. Larson moved and Mrs. Stanton seconded to pay $37,293.00 <br />to the Motorola Corporation for the Sheriff's Department radio <br />communications console from the State and Federal Reimbursed Programs <br />budget line item. On roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously. <br />Mr. Sondrall moved and Mr. Eckert seconded to grant approval <br />for a raffle permit for the Nora Lutheran Church of Gardner on October <br />3, 1987. On roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously. <br />Mrs. Stanton moved and Mr. Larson seconded to grant approval <br />for a raffle permit for the Apollo Homemaker's Club of Amenia on the <br />date of September 16, 1987, at the Red River Valley Fairgrounds. <br />On roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously. <br />Mr. Eckert moved and Mr. Larson seconded to grant approval for <br />a raffle permit for the 4- Corners Wildlife Club at Wheatland on <br />November 30, 1987. On roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously. <br />Mr. Larson moved and Mr. Eckert seconded that States Attorney <br />Robert Hoy prepare a lease proposal with the Southeastern North Dakota <br />Community Action Agency for use of the former County Detention Center <br />building located at 57 -11th Avenue North in Fargo for the Head Start <br />Program. Motion carried. <br />Mrs. Stanton moved and Mr. Larson seconded that the County <br />continue to pay the special assessments on the County's property at <br />57 -11th Avenue North in Fargo, as in the past. On roll call vote, <br />the motion carried unanimously. <br />Motion was made by Mr. Larson to pay off only the special <br />assessments at 57 -11th Avenue North which the County is paying 9 <br />interest upon. The motion failed for lack of a second. Mrs. Stanton <br />moved and Mr. Sondrall seconded that the County Auditor pay off the <br />balance of special assessments on the County property at 57 -11th Avenue <br />North in Fargo in the amount of $2,328.45. The motion carried on <br />roll call vote with four members voting "Aye Mr. Larson opposing. <br />County Auditor Ordelle Brua handed out copies of the Preliminary <br />Budget for the year ending December 31, 1988. Budget hearings with <br />department heads have been scheduled in the next two weeks. <br />On motion by Mr. Larson and seconded by Mrs. Stanton, the meeting <br />was adjourned. <br />
