Mr. Larson moved and Mr. Eckert seconded to receive and file <br />correspondence from the office of the Attorney General concerning <br />their recent inspection of the Cass County Juvenile Detention Center. <br />Motion carried. <br />Mr. Eckert moved and Mr. Larson seconded to receive and file <br />correspondence from the Town of Oakport, Moorhead, MN concerning the <br />Broadway bridge. Motion carried. <br />Mrs. Stanton moved and Mr. Sondrall seconded to approve payment <br />of dues to the North Dakota County Commissioner's Association in the <br />amount of $125.00. On roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously. <br />Mr. Larson moved and Mrs Stanton seconded to adopt a Maintenance <br />Procedure Form for use by County Departments needing assistance from <br />the Maintenance Department, as outlined by Administrative Assistant <br />Scott Krueger. Motion carried. <br />Scott Krueger discussed several matters concerning the building <br />construction and Courthouse grounds. <br />Scott Krueger stated that he feels the position of a Financial <br />Analyst for the County needs to be addressed and questioned how the <br />Commission wishes to approach it. Mrs. Stanton mentioned that she <br />has begun visiting with the City of Fargo about sharing the services <br />of a Personnel Director, and it appears that this may not be suitable. <br />The Chairman suggested that the Commissioners meet informally at <br />8:00 A.M. next Tuesday, April 21st, to discuss job descriptions of <br />both positions <br />Mr. Larson moved and Mrs. Stanton seconded to receive and file <br />the following Officer's Reports for March: Motion carried. <br />Clerk of Court 6,630.25 <br />County Court $31,278.00 <br />Register of Deeds $18,987.70 <br />Sheriff 7,743.03 <br />Veterans Service Officer <br />On motion by Mr. Larson and seconded by Mrs. Stanton, the meeting <br />was adjourned. <br />
