Mrs. Stanton moved and Mr. Larson seconded that Administrative <br />Assistant Scott Krueger be authorized out of state travel to St. Cloud, <br />MN on March 31, 1987, with the Data Processing Manager. On roll call <br />vote, the motion carried unanimously. <br />Sheriff Don Rudnick reported that Cass County Department Heads <br />are requesting that the east row of the Juvenile Detention Center <br />parking lot be designated for their use, Cass County Social Services <br />requested six additional reserved parking spots, and the County <br />Extension Service requested eight additional parking spots. As <br />members of a Parking Committee, Commissioners Eckert and Wieland <br />stated that no additional parking would be reserved in the Juvenile <br />Detention Center lot other than those approved last week. Parking <br />stickers are now available from the County Sheriff's Department. <br />The term of Jerry Kern on the Cass County Special Assessment <br />Commission expires in April, 1987, and the Chairman suggested that <br />anyone interested in the appointment should submit their name to a <br />Commissioner. <br />Mr. Larson moved and Mr. Eckert seconded that Cass County enter <br />into a lease purchase agreement with Daugherty /Dawkins of <br />Minneapolis, MN, for Road Department equipment for 36 months at <br />$3,425.00 per month at a rate of 7.08 interest, subject to approval <br />of the States Attorney; and that the bills from Krider Equipment <br />Company and from Sweeney Brothers Tractor Company in the amount of <br />$110,800.00 be paid from the State and Federal Reimbursed Fund. On <br />roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously. <br />Mr. Larson moved and Mrs. Stanton seconded to set the date of <br />April 30, 1987 for an auction sale of obsolete County furnishings <br />to be held at the Red River Valley Fairgrounds; and that Commissioner <br />Eckert be authorized to make arrangements for the advertising, <br />auctioneer and clerking. Motion carried. <br />On motion by Mr. Larson and seconded by Mrs. Stanton, the meeting <br />was adjourned <br />
