Mr. Larson moved and Mrs. Stanton seconded to authorize Scott <br />Krueger to hire Professional Building Services on a month -to -month <br />basis for janitorial services on the 4th floor of the South Wing at <br />a cost of $280.00 per month. On roll call vote, the motion carried <br />unanimously. <br />Mrs. Stanton moved and Mr. Larson seconded that Chairman Alon <br />Wieland serve on a Recount Board with the States Attorney and Clerk <br />of District Court for a recount of the votes cast at the November <br />4th, 1986, General Election for House of Representatives in the 45th <br />Legislative District. Motion carried. <br />Mr. Larson moved and Mrs. Stanton seconded to approve the request <br />of the Cass County Chapter of MADD (Mothers Against Drunk Drivers) <br />to have red ribbons distributed in County offices which can be placed <br />on car antennas for a particular day, and to be placed on County <br />vehicles as approved by the Sheriff. Motion carried. <br />Mrs. Stanton moved and Mr. Larson seconded that the Chairman <br />be authorized to sign Westlaw User Agreements between the West <br />Publishing Company and each of the County Attorneys and the two County <br />Court Judges, as presented by the States Attorney. On roll call vote, <br />the motion carried unanimously. <br />Mr. Larson moved and Mrs. Stanton seconded to authorize out of <br />state travel for Lt Arland Rasmussen to attend the quarterly meeting <br />of the Executive Board for the Mid States Organized Crime Information <br />Center in Minneapolis, Minnesota, on December 8 -10, 1986. Motion <br />carried. <br />Mr. Larson moved and Mrs. Stanton seconded to approve the <br />first -year purchase from the Sheriff's 1986 County budget of 10 mobile <br />radios for Sheriff patrol vehicles in the amount of $68,000.00 over <br />a 3 -year period. On roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously <br />with Mr. Eckert being absent at this time. <br />The Chairman suggested the date of December 10, 1986 for a meeting <br />with State Legislators to express some of the County's concerns. <br />All County Department Heads will be invited to express written concerns <br />to the Commission prior to the meeting. <br />On motion by Mr. Larson and seconded by Mrs. Stanton, the meeting <br />was adjourned. <br />
