Motion carried unanimously. Clerk of Court 5,640.00 County Court $31,653.96 Register of Deeds $16,076.20 Sheriff $12,824.39 Veterans Service Office Mr. Eckert moved and Mr. Sondrall seconded to approve the amended Application for Raffle Permit for the Wheatland Rod and Gun Club on the date of October 3, 1986. On roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously. Mr. Larson moved and Mrs. Stanton seconded that Sheriff Don Rudnick, Lt. Arland Rasmussen, Deputy Chuck Sauvageau and Sgt. Bud Warren be authorized to attend the annual convention of the Mid States Organized Crime Information Center on September 29 October 1, 1986, in Kansas City, Missouri. On roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously. Deputy Sauvageau stated that they would be traveling in one vehicle. Correspondence was read and committee reports were given. A letter from the Casselton Community Development Corporation was referred to Commissioner Eckert and will be discussed at budget time. On motion by Mr. Larson and seconded by M. Eckert, the meeting was adjourned. BUDGET MEETINGS OF CASS COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS The Cass County Board of Commissioners held budget hearings with various County departments beginning at 1:00 P.M. on September 16, 1986, and from 8:00 A.M. -12:00 Noon on September 17, 18 and 19, 1986. All members were present as follows: Jeannette Stanton, Don Eckert, Alon Wieland, Oscar Sondrall and Ray Larson. REGULAR MEETING OF CASS COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS SEPTEMBER 23, 1986 Chairman Alon Wieland called the meeting to order with four members present as follows: Jeannette Stanton, Don Eckert, Ray Larson and Alon Wieland. Commissioner Oscar Sondrall was absent. Mrs. Stanton moved and Mr. Larson seconded that the minutes of the previous meeting be approved as written. Motion carried. Mr. Eckert moved and Mrs. Stanton seconded to appoint Mr. Sanfred Ostlund to the Cass County Housing Authority to complete the unexpired term of the late Bert Thompson ending July 1, 1989. On roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously. It was the consensus of the Commission that Administrative Assistant Scott Architects Clark, Holman and Moorhead to create a change order for alley paving and South Wing construction project. The Chairman requested States Attorney Robert Hoy to prepare a resolution consideration next Tuesday on a levy for job development in the 1987 County budget. Correspondence was received from Representative Byron L. Dorgan and from Senator Mark Andrews acknowledging the County's letter and views on the Community Development Block Grant program. The Commission received a copy of a letter addressed to Fargo Mayor Jon Lindgren from Gary G. Griffeth regarding sewer and water services north of Hector Airport in Section 14, Reed Township. Mrs. Stanton stated that the two Cass County Court would like to know if they both do the same amount of consider 3 -4 years, not just the past year.
