Eide, Helmeke Company to engage in a long -range data processing <br />study as outlined to the Commission in a report dated August 19, 1985, <br />titled "Proposal for Developing a Long -Range Data Processing Plan" <br />at a cost of $23,000- $31,000 according to the fee schedule in said <br />report The motion carried on roll call vote with four members voting <br />"Aye Mr. Eckert opposing. <br />Upon the recommendation of Joyce Holm, County Superintendent <br />of Schools, Mrs. Stanton moved and Mr. Sondrall seconded to reappoint <br />R.D. Brown and Kathy Hawken to the Cass County School Reorganization <br />Committee for three year terms to expire December 31, 1988; and to <br />Otto Bernhoft to replace Joan MacDonald, whose term expires December <br />31, 1986. On roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously. <br />Mr. Wieland moved and Mr. Sondrall seconded to write a letter <br />to the Richland County Commissioners suggesting the date of December <br />17th at the time and place previously scheduled for a meeting to discuss <br />common concerns of the two counties. Motion carried. <br />Mrs. Stanton moved and Mr. Eckert seconded that the Chairman <br />be authorized to sign County Deeds for property sold at the annual <br />sale of tax forfeited property held on November 19, 1985. On roll <br />call vote, the motion carried unanimously. <br />The County Auditor requested authorization to cancel the 1985 <br />taxes in the amount of $252.95 on the above property sold at the annual <br />tax sale. Mr. Wieland questioned why the taxes should be canceled, <br />and the County Auditor stated that this has been the procedure. Mr. <br />Wieland moved and Mr. Sondrall seconded to not forgive the taxes for <br />1985 on the tax forfeited property. On roll call vote, the motion <br />carried unanimously. <br />Mrs. Stanton moved and Mr. Sondrall seconded to grant permission <br />for out of state travel for Joyce Temanson, County Social Services <br />employee. On roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously. <br />On motion by Mr. Sondrall and seconded by Mrs. Stanton, the <br />meeting was adjourned. <br />
