Motion <br />carried. <br />Correspondence from the State Highway Department on bridge <br />re- inspections was referred to the County Engineer. <br />Upon the request of Sheriff Don Rudnick, Mrs. Stanton moved and <br />Mr. Eckert seconded that Lt. Walt Willis be authorized to attend the <br />National Institute Corrections seminar in Marana, Arizona, on November <br />17 -22, 1985. On roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously. <br />Mrs. Stanton moved and Mr. Wieland seconded that Sheriff Don <br />Rudnick be authorized to attend a policy training session sponsored <br />by the Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention in Kansas <br />City, Missouri, on December 9 -12, 1985; and that Lt. Arland Rasmussen <br />be authorized to attend the quarterly meeting of the Midstates <br />Organized Crime Information Center in Springfield, Missouri, on <br />December 9 -11, 1985. On roll call vote, the motion carried <br />unanimously. <br />Mr. Eckert moved and Mrs. Stanton seconded that the Chairman <br />be authorized to sign the contract with Dan Martinsen, Inc. for group <br />health insurance consulting services for a period beginning October <br />1, 1985 and ending October 1, 1986, at a cost of $3,000.00. On roll <br />call vote, the motion carried unanimously. <br />Mr. Eckert moved and Mr. Sondrall seconded to receive and file <br />the correspondence from the Office of the Attorney General thanking <br />the County for their authorization to withhold funds from the gaming <br />taxes for the computer cross -check system. Motion carried. <br />Mr. Eckert moved and Mr. Sondrall seconded that the Auditor be <br />authorized to pay the invoice from Robert Rust in the amount of <br />$1,500.00 as property insurance adviser for the period of <br />January 1, 1985 to January 1, 1986. On roll call vote, the motion <br />carried unanimously. <br />Mr. Wieland moved and Mr. Sondrall seconded that the Chairman <br />and the Auditor be authorized to sign the Quit Claim Deed to John <br />W. Boler and Ed Steffes regarding a drainage ditch in the Village <br />West Second Addition, as prepared by the States Attorney. On roll <br />call vote, the motion carried unanimously. <br />Mr. Wieland reported that the States Attorney discovered that <br />Cass County has not deeded a tract of land at Trollwood Park to the <br />Fargo Park District, which the County believed had been done. The <br />Chairman asked Commissioners Sondrall and Stanton, the States Attorney <br />and the Administrative Assistant to research the matter further and <br />report back to the Commission. <br />
