D -8 Caterpillar and a paving unit for patching on County roads. On <br />roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously. <br />Correspondence was received this morning from the States Attorney <br />regarding a U.S. Supreme Court decision on compensatory time. Mr. <br />Larson stated that he feels the County needs to have a better and <br />more uniform system of record keeping on employees compensatory time. <br />No decision was reached today on a storm closing policy for County <br />offices until the Commission can talk to the States Attorney on how <br />this Supreme Court decision will affect the County. <br />Mrs. Stanton moved and Mr. Eckert seconded that the Veterans <br />Service Office be moved from the Cass County Annex to the first of <br />the Courthouse by May 1, 1985, to provide Social Services with <br />additional space at the Annex. On roll call vote, the motion carried <br />unanimously. <br />Mr. Wieland moved and Mrs. Stanton seconded to authorize the <br />Chairman and the Auditor to sign a County Deed to the City of Page <br />for the purchase of one parcel for $1.00, and to cancel the 5 -year <br />delinquent taxes. On roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously. <br />Mrs. Stanton moved and Mr. Wieland seconded to authorize the <br />Chairman and the Auditor to sign the RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING EXECUTION <br />OF BOND BANK PARTICIPATION AGREEMENT on financing short -term cash <br />flow deficits which are expected to occur in the Health Levy, County <br />Jail and Social Welfare funds. On roll call vote, the motion carried <br />unanimously. A copy of the resolution is on file in the office of <br />the County Auditor. <br />Mrs. Stanton moved and Mr. Sondrall seconded to grant out of <br />state travel to Beverly Bohn, Social Services employee. On roll call <br />vote, the motion carried unanimously. <br />On motion by Mrs. Stanton and seconded by Mr. Eckert, the Chairman <br />declared the meeting recessed until 2:00 p.m., which will be after <br />a meeting of the Cass County Building Authority. <br />RECESSED MEETING OF CASS COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />APRIL 2, 1985 -2:00 P.M. <br />Chairman Ray Larson called the recessed meeting to order with <br />all members present. <br />Scott Krueger, Administrative Assistant, reported that the Cass <br />County Building Authority met at 12:00 P.M. on this date to receive <br />bids for the purchase of $3,775,000 First Mortgage Revenue Bonds Series <br />1985, and they recommended accepting the bid of Merrill Lynch Capital <br />Markets with the American National Bank and Trust Company to be the <br />Trustee, Paying Agent and Registrar for the bonds. <br />Mr. Wieland moved and Mrs. Stanton seconded that the Cass County <br />Commission adopt the RESOLUTION APPROVING THE ISSUANCE OF $3,775,000 <br />
