Mr. Eckert moved and Mrs. Stanton seconded to appoint Mr. Victor T. Knudson of Kindred to the County Planning Commission to complete the unexpired term of Lawrence Moderow, which expires January 1, 1986. On roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously. Mrs. Stanton moved and Mr. Wieland seconded to receive and file the following Officer's Reports for December, 1984: Motion carried unanimously. Clerk of Court 4,042.50 County Court $19,121.96 Register of Deeds $11,987.40 Sheriff 6,844.81 Veterans Service Office Mrs. Stanton moved and Mr. Eckert seconded to approve the Application for a Raffle Permit for the Embden Community Club on March 15, 1985, at Embden. On roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously. Mr. Wieland moved and Mr. Sondrall seconded to appoint Mr. Nils Buringrud to replace R. Joseph Sether on the North Cass Water Resource District for a five year term to expire January 1, 1990. On roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously. The Board requested the States Attorney to investigate a problem which the Sheriff has on who is responsible for payment of medical costs for individuals who require medical attention while incarcerated in the County Jail. On motion by Mrs. Stanton and seconded by Mr. Eckert, the meeting was adjourned.
