The Chairman suggested that Steve Grindberg view the <br />bridge again with Commissioners Larson and Eckert, and to take along an engineer to estimate the cost <br />I and feasibility of repairing the bridge. <br /> <br />" Dan Martinsen, insurance consultant for the County's group health insurance coverage, reported that <br />there is a balance in the insurance account of $1,50,864.00 at the present time. About $13,000.00 per <br />month has been paid in claims, which he stated is very good. He recommended appropriating the same <br />i amount in the 1985 budget as for 1984. The Commission commended Mr. Martinsen for his work in <br />i establishing this self-insurance program, and they stated that the County employees have cooperated <br />I very well. On roll call vote, the motion carried <br />unanimously. <br /> <br />Mr. Eckert moved and Mr. Sondrall seconded that the Chairman be authorized to sign the Statement <br />of Assurances Certification Form EP 16 for Federal Revenue Sharing funds. On roll call vote, the motion <br />carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Upon the request of the Administrative Assistant, Mr. Wieland moved and Mr. Eckert seconded to <br />adopt "Section 504 Grievance Procedure" for the local policy against handicapped discrimination under the <br />Federal Revenue Sharing program. On roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Upon approval by the County Social Services Board, Mr. Eckert moved and Mr. Sondrall seconded <br />that Tom Jensen be authorized to hire a replacement for an employee who resigned from the Child Abuse <br />unit.
