" Dan Martinsen, insurance consultant for the County's group health insurance coverage, reported that there is a balance in the insurance account of $1,50,864.00 at the present time. About $13,000.00 per month has been paid in claims, which he stated is very good. He recommended appropriating the same i amount in the 1985 budget as for 1984. The Commission commended Mr. Martinsen for his work in i establishing this self-insurance program, and they stated that the County employees have cooperated I very well. Mr. Martinsen was requested to propose a contract to the Commission for 1985 to be considered I during budget reviews. On roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously. Mr. Eckert moved and Mr. Sondrall seconded that the Chairman be authorized to sign the Statement of Assurances Certification Form EP 16 for Federal Revenue Sharing funds. On roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously. Upon the request of the Administrative Assistant, Mr. Wieland moved and Mr. Eckert seconded to adopt "Section 504 Grievance Procedure" for the local policy against handicapped discrimination under the Federal Revenue Sharing program. On roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously. Upon approval by the County Social Services Board, Mr. Eckert moved and Mr. Sondrall seconded that Tom Jensen be authorized to hire a replacement for an employee who resigned from the Child Abuse unit. On roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously. On motion by Mr. Sondrall and seconded by Mr. Eckert, the meeting was adjourned.
