Heads, and reported that I committee has been I formed to study , the pay scale Budget Meeting held on County Court budget Mr. Sondrall moved and Mr. Wieland seconded to approve the Change Order No. G-3 from Architects Clark, Holman and Moorhead in regard to the Jail Re-roofing Project, which would increase the contract amount by $1,888.00. On roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously. Mr. Eckert moved and Mr. Larson seconded to approve the "Notice of Weed Cutting" to be published on September 10 and 17, 1984. On roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously. Mr. Larson moved and Mr. Eckert seconded that Vouchers No. 46,454 through No. 46,882 and No. 49,883 through No. 50,135 and Revenue Sharing Vouchers No. 416 through No. 418 be approved and ordered paid. On roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously. On motion by Mr. Larson and seconded by Mr. Eckert, the meeting was recessed until 1 ;30 P.M. on September 4, 1984. RECESSED MEETING OF CASS COUNTY COMMISSIONERS SEPTEMBER 4, 19811--1 ;30 P.M. Chairman Stanton called the recessed meeting to order at 1 :30 P.M. with all members being present. Mrs. Ordelle Brua, Auditor, presented the preliminary budget for the year 1985. Mr. Larson moved and Mr. Eckert seconded to approve the preliminary budget. On roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously. Mr. Robert Hoy, States Attorney, gave a presentation on behalf of the Department Heads regarding salaries for County employees with an 8 per cent figure that the Commission might consider for the 1985 budget. In addition to making a salary suggestion, the Department Heads have formed a committee to come up with a more suitable, pay- scale for each individual employee based on job description and the kind of performance given by each employee. The Department Heads would decide where they would place each employee. On motion by Mr. Larson and seconded by Mr. Eckert, the meeting was adjourned. CASS COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS BUDGET MEETING SEPTEMBER 5, 1984 Chairman Stanton called the meeting to order at 8:00 A.M. on Wednesday, September 5, 19811, with Commissioners Don Eckert, Oscar Sondrall, Jeannette Stanton and Alon Wieland being present. Commissioner Ray Larson was absent. - Judge Donald Cooke and Judge Cynthia Rothe discussed County Court's budget request for the year 1985 with the Commission. The Chairman declared the meeting adjourned.
