<br />Upon the request of John Meyer, Veterans Service Officer, Mr. Larson moved
<br />and Mr. Eckert seconded to authorize the Chairman to sign the following resolution:
<br />On roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously.
<br />
<br />BE IT RESOLVED, that the provisions of Section 57-02-08 (20) North Dakota Century
<br />Code and in accordance with the applications for the following and the showing by
<br />the Auditor's Worksheet in compliance with the statute that the unpaid taxes for
<br />the year 1983 be cancelled and the County Auditor and County Treasurer be hereby
<br />directed to take such action as required to accomplish the cancellation of said
<br />taxes of record to the extent listed below:

<br />to the Cass County Park Board On roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously.

<br />Mr. John Hensrud, Metropolitan Council of Governments, presented a Scope of
<br />Work which tells how they plan to update the current Metropolitan Highway Plan
<br />taking it to the year 1990 and 2000 in four overlapping processes. The Metro Council
<br />will be sending out 1,900 questionnaires at large to the Cass County Commission
<br />to complete wit,h..an: i.j.pproval given in one year.
<br />
<br />Mr. Leo Sitter,Blue Cross Representative, gave some recommendations on forming
<br />a uniform policy regarding eligibility, part-time employees and retirees.
<br />
<br />Eligibility: Mr. Larson moved and seconded by Mr. Wieland to receive coverage
<br />the first of the month following 160 hours of employment. On roll call vote,
<br />the motion carried unanimously.
