D. Brown to the Cass County School Reorganization! Reorganization Committee for a three year term to expire January 1, 1986; a~d to appoint Mrs. Kathy Hawken jCOmmittee to replace Shirley Sinclair for a three year term to expire January 1, 1986. On roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously. , Mr. Larson moved and Mrs. Stanton seconded to renew the Rental Agreement for 1983 I Rental agreement with Philip Matthews for the Cass County Extension Department at 912-3rd Avenue South in renewed for Co. Fargo on the same basis as during the past year. On roll call vote, the motion carried I' Ext. Offices un~nimously. Mr. Larson moved and Mr. Eckert seconded to grant approval for the renewal of the following County Beer and Liquor License applications for 1983 received to date: On roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously. Lambert & Jeanne Hersch - Everest Township Oxbow Country Club & Estates - Hickson Eugene J. Stock - Everest Township Charles Olson - Warren Township Mr. Larson moved and Mrs. Stanton seconded that the County Auditor be authorized to ipay $1,964.00 to the Stoutland Construction Company for partial payment on the Jail outdoor recreation area. On roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously. Mrs. Stanton moved and Mr. Larson seconded that the County Auditor be authorized to pay $450.00 to the firm of Clark, Holman & Moorhead as Architects for the Jail outdoor recreation area. On roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously. Upon the request of County Court Judge Donald Cooke, Mr. Hendrickson moved and Mrs. Stanton seconded to adopt a resolution creating the position of a second Cass County Judge under the authority of Section 27-07.1-01 of the North Dakota Century Code; and that Miss Cynthia Rothe be appointed to that position to hold office until the next General Election, at the same salary she is presently receiving. On roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously. Judge Cooke requested the Commission to review an architect's drawing of the unfinished office space on the second floor of the Courthouse Addition across from his offices, and to consider finishing the space for a l2-person jury room and two attorney's conference rooms. Mrs. Stanton moved and Mr. Larson seconded that Tom Jensen, County Social Services Director, be authorized to replace one employee which Mr. Jensen feels is necessary. On roll call vote, the motion carried with Mrs. Stanton, Mrs. Wold and Mr. Larson voting "Aye" and Mr. Hendrickson and Mr. Eckert voting "No". On motion by Mr. Larson and seconded by Mrs. Stanton, the meeting was adjourned. REGULAR MEETING OF CASS COUNTY COMMISSIONERS DECEMBER 21, 1982 , Chairman Wold called the meeting to order and upon roll call four members were i present, Mr. Hendrickson being absent. Mrs. Stanton moved and Mr. Larson seconded that the minutes of the previous meeting be approved as written. Motion carried. The County Auditor reported on a North Dakota Association of Counties meeting held in Bismarck last week concerning proposed legislation that would benefit counties. Mr. Larson moved and Mrs. Stanton seconded to grant renewal of the Beer and Liquor Lic~nse for the Hickson Bar & Lounge, Inc. for the year 1983. On roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously. ; Mrs. Stanton moved and Mr. Larson seconded to pay Dakota Fence Company $23,076.06 for work on the fence around the Jail's outdoor recreation area. On roll call vote, the 'motion carried unanimously. Mr. Larson moved and Mr. Eckert seconded that the delinquent general taxes for five years on a descriptive tract in John Rustad's Addition and two lots in Northview Addition in the City of Kindred be cancelled, and that these lots be sold to the City of Kinqred for $1.00 per lot, with the hope that they can get the property back on the Cou4ty's tax rolls. On roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously. Mr. Larson moved and Mrs. Stanton seconded that the Auditor be authorized to reimburse the Cass County Road Department in the amount of $884.51 for work done by them for other County departments. On roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously. On motion by Mr. Larson and secortded by Mr. Eckert, the meeting was adjourned. Renewal of Co.
