On roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously. Mr. Eckert moved and Mr. Larson seconded to grant a permit to the Chaffee Lion's Club to hold a raffle on the date of December 2, 1982, at the Chaffee School Gym. An Invocation was given by the Chairman. i Mr. Larson moved and Mrs. Stanton seconded that the minutes of the previous meeting I be approved as writt~n. ,Motion carried. I I Mr. Hendrickson moved and Mr. Larson seconded to receive and file the petition I containing 71 signatures requesting a railroad warning device on County Road 27 at the I southwest edge of the City of Davenport. On roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously. i Mrs. Stanton moved and Mr. Larson seconded that Mr. Ranier Lobitz from the , County Social Services Office be authorized to attend a Child Protective Practice Seminar i in Denver, Colorado, on the dates of October 21-23, 1982. On roll call vote, the motion I carried unanimously. Mr. Eckert moved and Mr. Hendrickson seconded that Vouchers No. 27,907 through i No. 28,802 and Revenue Sharing Vouchers No. 322 and 323 be approved and ordered paid. IOn roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously. i Commissioner Larson questioned the salary that is being paid to the County Judge, Donald Cooke. Mrs. Wold suggested that the discussion be continued after Judge Cooke can be present. The minutes of November 10, 1981, to the position of full-time Magistrate of $36,633.00. Judge Cooke requested a budget session with the Commission. were read whereby Cynthia Rothe was appointed and Referee to the County Court at a salary salary increase for Judge Rothe at a recent Mr. Hendrickson moved and Mr. Larson seconded that Judge Cynthia Rothe's salary remain the same as for the past year at $36,633.00. The motion carried on a roll call, vote with Mr. Larson, Mr. Eckert and Mr. Hendrickson voting "Aye" and Mrs. Stanton and Mrs. Wold voting "No". Judge Donald Cooke was present and stated that he will come back to the Board next week with the figures on how his salary is computed, as questioned by Mr. Larson.
