Motion carried. <br /> <br />Plat of ponderosall Mr. Lee Sprague from the Moore Engineering com.pany presented a plat of pond.erosa <br />Subd. apprvd. First Subdivision in the NE~ of Section 6, Stanley Township. Mr. Larson moved and <br />Mr. Hendrickson seconded that the Plat of ponderosa Subdivision be approved with <br />"restrictive covenants being imposed upon all of the lots, said restrictive covenants <br />ihaving been approved by the Cass County Planning Commission also on the date of <br />iSeptember 21, 1982. On roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously. <br />I <br /> <br />Disc. on req. : Mr. Bob Finney appeared before the Commission to request an approach to his property <br />for approach in !in Section 34, Stanley Township, near the intersection of County Road 16 and County Road 21 <br />Section 34, iwhich he recently purchased. Steve Grindberg, County Road Superintendent, stated that <br />Stanley Twp-- Ithe landowner who Mr. Finney bought his property from is advertising lots for sale. <br />granted but Bd. IMr. Grindberg feels there should be a service road because the County has a policy <br />stipulates that I'limiting the number of approaches onto a county road. He stated that the County could <br />there will be no give Mr. Finney an approach to his land and if the rest is sold in lots, the developer <br />future approachesishould be required to provide a service road. <br />wi thout a:'service II <br />road ,Mr. Eckert suggested that the approach for Mr. Finney be used as the access <br />!for a future service road, but Mr. Finney stated that this would cause him difficulty <br />:with his present building plans. <br />; <br />i <br />i Mr. Larson moved and_Mrs. Stanton seconded that Mr. Bob Finney be granted an approach <br />'Iat the location he has specified to the County Road Superintendent, and that the <br />,States Attorney write a letter to the developer and to the Stanley Township Board of <br />ISup~rvisors stating that no further approaches will be allowed without a service road. <br />,On roll call vote, the motion carried with Mr. Larson, Mrs. Stanton and Mrs. Wold <br />I voting "Aye", Mr. Eckert and Mr. Hendrickson voting "No".. <br /> <br />I Mr. Grindberg stated that he met with the members of the Southeast Cass Water <br />I Resource District regarding their drain clean-out project on Drain #40 north of <br />iReile's Acres. He stated that one landowner is requesting that a bridge on County Road 20 <br />Ibe replaced when the drain channel is changed, but Mr. Grindberg did not feel the County <br />lshould spend $14,000.00, which would be the County's share to replace it. He stated <br />ithat the landowner presently has two accesses on County Road 20. Mr. Hendrickson moved <br />! and Mr. Eckert seconded that the County reject the request for bridge replacement <br />Ion the Drain 40 project. On roll call vote, the motinn ~arried unanimously. <br /> <br />Insurance estimate Mr. Grindberg received an estimate from the County's insurance company in the <br />on repairing bldglamount of $13,180.00 for repair of the County shop at Davenport which was damaged <br />at Davenport during a wind storm. . <br /> <br />Bd. approves I Mrs. Stanton moved and Mr. Larson seconded that the Commission adopt the Natural <br />;Nat. Disas. Plan I. Disaster Plan as prepared ~y Gordo~ Sletmo~, Disaster Emergency Services Director. <br />. On roll call vote, the mot~on carr~ed unan~mously. <br /> <br />Bd. to write i Upon,the request of Mark Foss, representative f07 the Municipal Airport Authority <br />letter of supporti for the C~ty of Fargo, Mr. Larson moved and Mr. Hendr~ckson seconded that Cass County <br />to Fargo Munic. I send a letter of support to the Municipal Airport Authority for an automated <br />Airport I flight service station at Hector Airport. On roll call vote, the motion carried <br />I unanimously. <br /> <br />Lost Instr. Bond Mr. Larson moved and Mrs. Stanton seconded to receive and file the Indemnity Bond <br />for Orin Ahrndt Ion Lost Instrument for Orin Ahrndt, and authorize the County Auditor to issue a <br />I duplicate check.
