<br />The Board again discussed the application received last week for a dance permit
<br />:at the Red River Valley Fairgrounds on May 29th. Robert Hoy, States Attorney, reported
<br />!that a dance permit is not necessary unless this is going to be a public dance.
<br />iMr. Hoy will contact the applicants before next week, and he will also set up some
<br />iguidelines as to what constitutes a public or a private dance and pass out the
<br />iinformation to the County departments having the application forms.

<br />Mr. Larson moved and Mrs. Stanton seconded that the above bids be referred
<br />to the Road Superintendent for his recommendation next week. On roll call vote,
<br />the motion carried unanimously.

<br />A letter was received from Dakota Clinic, Ltd. stating that Dr. Michael Hurley
<br />will no longer be the Cass County Coroner, effective April 15, 1982, but assuring
<br />the County that Dakota Clinic intends to fulfill the terms of the agreement for
<br />coroner services which will be provided by Dr. Robert Morrison, pathologist at
<br />Dakota Clinic. Mrs. Stanton suggested writing a letter to Dakota Clinic, Ltd. thanking
<br />them for advising us that Dr. Hurley is leaving and that Cass County wishes to continue
<br />under the contractual agreement.

<br />A letter was received from the Cass County Housing Authority regarding a vacancy
<br />that board caused by the resignation of Milton Holmen. The matter will be placed
<br />the agenda in two weeks.

<br />Vouchers approved Mr. Larson moved and Mrs. Stanton seconded that Vouchers No. 22,272 through
<br />iNo. 22,988 and Revenue Sharing Vouchers No. 299 and No. 300 be approved and ordered paid.

<br />Chairman Wold called the meeting to order and upon roll call, all members were present.
<br />
<br />Mr. Eckert moved and Mrs. Stanton seconded that the minutes of the p;t;'evious meeting
<br />i be approved ,as written. Motion carried.

<br />I Regarding the supply of gravel which Mr. Donald Gunness has for sale, the
<br />, Road Superintendent stated that he does not wish to be obligated to purchase a definite
<br />I amount. Mr. Larson felt that the County should not be in a hurry to purchase gravel,
<br />: and Mr. Grindberg also favored delaying a decision at this time.

<br />Mr. Eckert moved and Mrs. Stanton seconded that Mr. Grindberg be authorized
<br />: to purchase a power washer for cleaning County Shop equipment ata cost of $3,800.00.
<br />i On roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously.

<br />I As discussed at the March meeting of the East Central County Commissioners Association,
<br />! Mr. Eckert moved and Mrs. Stanton seconded that Cass County write a letter to the
<br />i State Highway Department urging them not to abandone the Secondary Roads Division.
