I , The Board discussed a problem of poor acoustics in the new courtrooms in the inlCourthouse Addition, and the Auditor stated that the Architect was made aware of the I situation. i Sheriff Rudnick- : Discussion was held with Sheriff Don Rudnick on the contract amounts for housing Discuss. on Iprisoners in the County Jail. He stated that the present amounts are covering the expenses housing prisonerslfor food, and most of the remaining costs would be there anyway such as maintenance. The Board asked how Cass County compares with other jails in the state and also Icounty jails in other states, and the Sheriff will investigate this further. I , f h . Policy committeeJ Mr. Eckert reported that a Policy Committee consisting of several County Department Report on change~Hea~s,and himself met on several occasion~, ,and changes,in th~ County's,personnel personnel polic. IPollcles have been suggested plus new pollcles to be wrltten lnto a pollcy statement Iconcerning other matters of the County. The Board will continue to study proposed policy matters. ! Vouchers for Mr. Hendrickson moved and Mr. Eckert seconded that Vouchers No. 21,583 through January approved No. 22,271 and Revenue Sharing Vouchers No. 295 through No. 298 be approved and ordered paid. The motion carried on roll call vote with all-members present voting "Aye". On motion by Mr. Eckert and seconded by Mr. Hendrickson, the meeting was adjourned. REGULAR MEETING OF CASS COUNTY COMMISSIONERS FEBRUARY 9, 1982 (TUESDAY) Chairman Wold called the meeting to order and upon roll call, all members were present. Mrs. Stanton moved and Mr. Larson seconded that the minutes of the previous meeting be approved as written. Motion carried. Dance permit granted to Shey. Red Riv. HS ,~o:l, Rodeo Assoc. Mr. Larson moved and Mrs. Stanton seconded to grant a permit to the Sheyenne, Red River High School Rodeo Association to hold a public dance on the date of April 17, 1982, in the Commercial Building at the Red River Valley Fairgrounds. On roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously. C3 possible changes in RR tracks Mr. Eckert reported that he has been talking with officials of the Burlington Northern Railroad Company about some possible changes on the railroad tracks three miles east of Buffalo on County Road 3.
