<br />PROCEEDINGS OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />OF CASS COUNTY, NORTH DAKOTA <br /> <br />"~.-- .---,----- =~:':'_:~~K~-~o!i!..!~~~-o:.-!:~'::.:~~~~_~~~!i,~~~,_ <br /> <br />6011 <br /> <br />REGULAR MEETING OF CASS COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />DECEMBER 30, 1981 <br /> <br />Chairman Hendrickson called the meeting to order with all members being present. <br /> <br />Mr. Larson moved and Mrs. Wold seconded that the minutes of the previous meeting <br />be ap~roved as written. Motion carried. <br /> <br />Mrs. Wold moved and Mr. Larson seconded that the Board grant Site Authorization <br />to the Horace American Legion for the purpose of holding games of chance at the <br />Watering Hole Bar in Wild Rice for the period of one year from the date of <br />December 30, 1981. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Mrs. Stanton moved and Mr. Larson seconded that the County Auditor be authorized <br />to purchase an American Flag at a cost of $28.30 and to purchase a North Dakota State Flag <br />at a cost of $35.70, both to be made of a nylon material. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Mrs. Wold moved and Mrs. Stanton seconded to accept the resignation of Leon Roesler <br />. from the Maple River Water Management Bo.ard. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Mrs. Wold moved and Mrs. Stanton seconded to appoint Mr. Clarence Discher to the <br />Maple River Water Management Board to complete the unexpired term of Leon Roesler, <br />which expires January 1, 1984. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Mr. Bob Rust and Mr. Bob Dawson were present regarding the County's insurance <br />coverage. A $3,000,000 umbrella policy could be purchased for $3,000 or a <br />$5,000,000 umbrella policy could be purchased for $4,000 for an annual premium. <br />Mrs. Wold moved and Mrs. Stanton seconded that the County purchase a $5,000,000 <br />. Umbrella Policy from the Dawson Insurance Company for a 7 month period until the date <br />of August 1, 1982. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Mr. Larson moved and Mrs. Wold seconded that George Griffeth be reappointed <br />to the Southeastern North Dakota Community Action Agency for a 3 year term to expire <br />January 1, 1985. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Mrs. Stanton moved and Mr. Larson seconded that Lawrence MQderow, L. E. Berger <br />and Fred Selberg be reappointed to the Cass County Planning Commission for 4 year <br />terms to expire January 1, 1986.
