'~~GO. ~_~. <br /> <br />228.11". _. <br /> <br />Mrs. Stanton moved and Mr. Eckert seconded to advertise for bids for treRoad Departmen1 <br />yearly supplies and set the bid opening date for February 24, 1982. On roll call vote, <br />the motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Discussion was again held on the clean-up of property in the City of Riverside. <br />Robert Hoy, States Attorney, stated that if the property is declared to be a public <br />nuisance and a health hazard, then the County can have the property cleaned up and it <br />can be assessed against the taxes. The County Sanitarian will again discuss the matter <br />with the present property owner. <br /> <br />Discussion was held on setting the salary for the recently appointed States Attorney, <br />and the matter will be placed on the agenda in two weeks. <br /> <br />Upon the recommendation of the County Auditor, Mr. Larson moved and Mrs. Stanton <br />seconded to accept the bid of the Knight Printing Company for election supplies. On roll <br />call vote, the motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Mrs. Stanton moved and Mr. Larson seconded to receive and file the following reports <br />for November: Motion carried. <br /> <br />Rush River Water Management District <br />North Cass Water Management District <br />Maple River Water Management District <br />Southeast Cass Water Management District <br />Cass County Veterans Service <br /> <br />Mr. Eckert moved and Mrs. Stanton seconded to authorize the D. C. Trautman Company <br />to install two temporary walls at the Juvenile Justice Center to provide office space for <br />the Regional Child Support Enforcement Unit, at a cost of $1,755.00. On roll call vote, <br />the motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Duane Hoehn, County Auditor, received an estimate from Adams, Inc. in the amount of <br />i $3,417.45 for metal material to be used for shelving in the storage room in the Courthouse <br />[-Addition, plus $512.00 for the particle board sheets. There was an estimate of $683.00 <br />i for the installation of the shelving, but Mr. Hoehn felt that the County's maintenance <br />men could possibly install it. Mrs. Stanton moved and Mr. Larson seconded to proceed <br />with the purchase of the shelving, excluding the cost of the labor at this time. On roll <br />call vote, the motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Due to the redistricting of the State's legislative districts, Mr. Larson moved and <br />Mrs. Stanton seconded to adopt the following precinct lines as presented by the County <br />Auditor: On roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Legislative <br />District <br /> <br />45 East of Interstate 29 in Reed Township, including the City of North River, votes <br />in Fargo Precinct *27 <br /> <br />22 Reed Township votes in the City of Harwood <br /> <br />13 Reed Township, inclUding the City of Reiles Acres, votes in the Reed Township <br />Hall located in the NW corner of Section 32 <br /> <br />13 Barnes Township votes in the City of Riverside <br /> <br />46 Barnes Township, including the City of Prairie Rose, votes in the Atonement <br />Lutheran Church in Section 36, Barnes Township <br /> <br />46 Stanley Township <br />West of Interstate 29 votes in the City of Horace <br />East of Interstate 29, including the Cities of Frontier and Briarwood, votes <br />in the Sacred Heart Convent <br /> <br />The townships of Hunter, Bell, Gunkle, Kinyon, Noble, Wiser & Gardner and the cities of <br />Hunter, Gardner and Grandin are now in the 22nd Legislative District and will vote at the <br />same polling places as the last General Election. <br /> <br />All other precincts in Cass County will vote at the same location as the last General <br />Election. <br /> <br />Mrs. Stanton moved and Mr. Larson seconded to receive and file the letter from <br />Attorney General Rovert Wefald with a cover letter from the States Attorney Robert Hoy <br />stating that the Commissioners elected at large in 1980 to a four year term do not have <br />to stand for re-election until the expiration of their term in 1984. On roll call vote, <br />the motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />On motion by Mrs. Stanton and seconded by Mr. Larson, the meeting was adjourned. <br />
