<br />REGULAR MEETING OF CASS COUNTY COMMISSIONERS

<br />OCTOBER 28, 1981

<br />Chairman Hendrickson called the meeting to order and upon roll call, all members
<br />;were present.
<br />
<br />Mrs. Stanton moved and Mr. Eckert seconded that the minutes of the previous meeting
<br />be 'approved as written. Motion carried.
<br />
<br />Upon the request of Mr. Kevin Kehrwald from the Cass County Soil Conservation Service,
<br />Mr. Larson moved and Mrs. Wold seconded to approve the updated 5-year plan of the
<br />Resource Conservation and Development Program and authorize the Chairman to sign it.
<br />On roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously.
<br />
<br />Upon the recommendation of the Cass County Sheriff's Department, Mrs. Stanton moved
<br />and Mr. Larson seconded to accept the bid of Corwin-Chrysler Plymouth, Inc. in the amount
<br />of $9,138.50 each for four patrol vehicles, the amount of $8,393.45 for one unmarked car;
<br />and to accept the bid of Hall GMC, Inc. in the amount of $14,198.40 for a 4-wheel drive
<br />vehicle for the Sheriff's Department. On roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously.
<br />
<br />Mr. Eckert moved and Mr. Larson seconded that the Board grant Site Authorization
<br />to the Whe~tland Rod & Gun Club for the purpose of holding games of chance at the
<br />Wheatland School on the date of November 20, 1981, or an alternate date of December 4, 1981.
<br />On roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously.
<br />
<br />Mrs. Wold moved and Mrs. Stanton seconded to accept the Contract for County Coroner
<br />Services from Dakota Clinic, Ltd. as drafted by the Cass County States Attorney with one
<br />change being made whereby the payment for services shall be on or about the lOth of each
<br />.month rather than the 25th of each month as first stated. On roll call.vote, the motion
<br />'carried unanimously.
<br />
<br />The Commission will be meeting on Tuesday, November 10th, instead of Wednesday,
<br />!November 11th, which is Veteran's Day.
<br />
<br />Committee Reports were given.
<br />
<br />On motion by Mrs. Wold and seconded by Mrs. Stanton, the meeting was adjourned.

<br />Chairman Hendrickson called the meeting to order and upon roll call, all members
<br />were present.
<br />
<br />Mrs. Wold moved and Mrs. Stanton seconded that the'minutes of the previous meeting
<br />be approved as written. Motion carried.
<br />
<br />Mr. Bob Walker presented a plat of Montplaisir Second Subdivision which is a part
<br />of the SW~ of Section 23, Township 149, Range 49. The Cass County Planning Commission
<br />on September 9, 1981, recommended that the plat not be approved because of the
<br />sewage disposal and fire safety factors. Mrs. Stanton moved and Mr. Larson seconded
<br />that the Chairman be authorized to sign the plat as having reviewed it, and that
<br />the same comments of the County Planning Commission be forwarded to the City of Fargo.
<br />On roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously.
<br />
<br />Mr. Larson moved and Mrs. Stanton seconded that the County Road Superintendent
<br />be authorized to purchase a gasoline powered one-ton, six passenger pick-up for the
<br />Road Department. On roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously.
<br />
<br />Mr. Larson moved and Mrs. Wold seconded that Mr. Grindberg and Mr. Hendrickson
<br />decide on three or four items which the County might like to buy at an equipment auction
<br />to be held on November lOth at the Red River Valley Fairgrounds, and that Mr. Grindberg
<br />be authorized to bid on those items the day of the sale not to exceed $10,000.00 per item.
<br />On roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously.
