Anderson, Attorney for the Cass County Farm Bureau, co.!stating their views on the regional airport authority's proposed mill levy. REGULAR MEETING OF CASS COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OCTOBER 21, 1981 Chairman Hendrickson called the meeting to order and four members were present, iMrs. Wold being absent. i Mrs. Stanton moved and Mr. Eckert seconded that the minutes of the previous meeting 'be approved as written. Motion carried. I I Forest River i Upon the recommendation of the project engineer for the Forest River paving project, paving proj--bidsIMrs. Stanton moved and Mr. Larson seconded to receive and refer the bids as opened to be delayed I at the last Commission meeting to the County Auditor for safekeeping of all original until April 1, I bonds and proposals until the date of April 1, 1982, as agreed upon by the low bidder, 1982 I the Northern Improvement Company, at which time the award may be made if proper funding I for the project is available by that date. On roll call vote, the motion carried I unanimously. -- Site Auth. for I Mr. Larson moved and Mr. Eckert seconded to grant site authorization to the Buffalo Community' Buffalo Community Club for the purpose of holding games of chance at the Bison Steakhouse Club granted at and Lounge for the periOd of November 15, 1981 to November 15, 1982. Site Auth. for St. Benedict Church granted for Nov. 13th Bids recd. for Sheriff's cars ,and one 4-wheel 'drive vehicle Hearing on appraisal of tax-forfeited property Mrs. Stanton moved and Mr. Larson seconded to grant site authorization to the St. Benedict Church to hold games of chance on the date of November 13, 1981, at St. Benedict's Church in wild Rice, North Dakota. On roll call vote, the mtoion oarried unanimously. A public hearing was held at 10:30 A.M. on the appraisal of tax-forfeited property. Several persons appeared to inquire whether parcels of land could be sold for less than the amount of taxes assessed against them, but the Board's policy is that the land shall not be sold for less than the amount of taxes owing. On motion by Mr. Larson and seconded by Mrs. Stanton, the meeting was adjourned.
