On roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously. Raffle Permit granted to Shan- ley Parent Cncl. permit be granted to Fairgrounds on the date unanimously. Mrs. Stanton moved and Mr. Larson seconded that the County Auditor be authorized to pay the following estimates on the Courthouse Addition: Twin City Construction Company in the amount of $55,014.30; Rick Electric in the amount of $30,105.90; Meinecke-Johnson Company in the amount of $58,663.00; and Architects Clark Holman & Moorhead, Ltd. in the amount of $11,832.20 and the amount of $821.40. On roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously. On motion by Mrs. Wold a,nd seconded by Mr. Larson, the meeting was adjourned. , i l SEPTEMBER 9, 1981 i i Chairman Hendrickson called the meeting to order and upon roll call, all members I were present but Mr. Larson had to leave shortly after the meeting started. ! i Mrs. Stanton moved and Mr. Eckert seconded that the minutes of the previous meeting I be approved as written. Motion carried.. , i REGULAR MEETING OF CASS COUNTY COMMISSIONERS . Mrs. Wold reported that several members of the Commission interviewed applicants i for the position of half-time County Superintendent of Schools. Mrs. Wold moved and iMrs. Stanton seconded that Deborah Korsmo of Fargo be appointed to the half-time position lof Cass County Superintendent of Schools, effective immediately, to complete the iunexpired term of the late Joan Mikula-Odden. The motion carried on roll call vote i with the four members present voting "Aye". , Disc. on appt.! Discussion was held on the appointment of an Administrative Assistant as approved .of Administrativel in the 1981-1982 County budget. The matter was deferred until the position can be Assistant , discussed with the County Auditor as to a job description and the amount of time i that will be involved. . I "fencing design and specifications for an outside recreation area should the County need to update the Jail according to new standards. A reply will be.written stating I that the County will contact them when they decide to take any action on the matter. I Mrs. Stanton moved and Mrs. Wold seconded to amend the bid opening date on the I bids for the Forest River paving project from September 30th to the date of October 7, 11981, at 9:15 A.M. The motion carried on roll call vote with the four members present I voting "Aye". I Resolution adopt-i Mrs. Stanton moved and Mrs. Wold seconded that Cass County adopt a resolution, ed re: redistrict~along with the other four counties in the East Central Commissioners Association, ing of Co. Comm. I requesting the North Dakota State Legislature to amend Chapter 11-07 of the NDCC districts I to provide that those county commissioners whose terms would not otherwise expire , until 1984 not be required to run for election in 1982. This would be unless the commissioners are elected by districts, and their existing boundaries are I changed as a result of reapportionment of the Commissioners districts in their county. !
