On roll call <br />vote, the motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />On motion by Mrs. Wold a,nd seconded by Mr. Larson, the meeting was adjourned. <br /> <br />, <br />i <br />l SEPTEMBER 9, 1981 <br />i <br />i Chairman Hendrickson called the meeting to order and upon roll call, all members <br />I were present but Mr. Larson had to leave shortly after the meeting started. <br />! <br />i Mrs. Stanton moved and Mr. Eckert seconded that the minutes of the previous meeting <br />I be approved as written. Motion carried.. <br />, <br />i <br /> <br />REGULAR MEETING OF CASS COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />. Mrs. Wold reported that several members of the Commission interviewed applicants <br />i for the position of half-time County Superintendent of Schools. Mrs. Wold moved and <br />iMrs. Stanton seconded that Deborah Korsmo of Fargo be appointed to the half-time position <br />lof Cass County Superintendent of Schools, effective immediately, to complete the <br />iunexpired term of the late Joan Mikula-Odden. The motion carried on roll call vote <br />i with the four members present voting "Aye". <br />, <br /> <br />Disc. on appt.! Discussion was held on the appointment of an Administrative Assistant as approved <br />.of Administrativel in the 1981-1982 County budget. I "fencing design and specifications for an outside recreation area should the County <br />need to update the Jail according to new standards. A reply will be.written stating <br />I that the County will contact them when they decide to take any action on the matter. <br /> <br />I Mrs. Stanton moved and Mrs. Wold seconded to amend the bid opening date on the <br />I bids for the Forest River paving project from September 30th to the date of October 7, <br />11981, at 9:15 A.M. The motion carried on roll call vote with the four members present <br />I voting "Aye". <br />I <br />Resolution adopt-i Mrs. Stanton moved and Mrs. Wold seconded that Cass County adopt a resolution, <br />ed re: redistrict~along with the other four counties in the East Central Commissioners Association, <br />ing of Co. Comm. I requesting the North Dakota State Legislature to amend Chapter 11-07 of the NDCC <br />districts I to provide that those county commissioners whose terms would not otherwise expire <br />, until 1984 not be required to run for election in 1982. This would be unless <br />the commissioners are elected by districts, and their existing boundaries are <br />I changed as a result of reapportionment of the Commissioners districts in their county. <br />!
