Motion carried. <br />I <br /> <br />Rd. Dept. Equip- I Mr. James Colfer from Imperial Municipal Services Corporation appeared before the <br />ment purchases-- I Board along with Tom Jennings from W. W. Wallwork, Inc. Mr. Colfer explained his company's <br />disc. on lease- i lease-purchase financing as a means of acquiring equipment. The Board stated that they <br />purchase financingl would like to study this method further and asked Mr. Colfer to send them some information. <br />I <br />Mrs. Wold moved and Mr. Eckert seconded that Cass County Electric be authorized to <br />bury cable on County Road 81 in the :SWl:! of Section 18, Stanley Township, and on <br />County Road 1 in the W~ of Section 29, Rochester Township. On roll call vote, the motion <br />carried unanimously. <br /> <br />REGULAR MEETING OF CASS COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />An Invocation was given by the Chairman. <br /> <br />Resolution of <br />Prel. Approval , <br />for MIDA financing <br />for Horvick Manu~ <br />facturing <br /> <br />Attorney Wayne Solberg appeared before the Board on behalf of the Horvick Manufacturing <br />Company who has indicated a desire to undertake a project in Cass County at a total cost <br />of approximately $280,000.00 consisting of a new manufacturing facility to be located <br />north of Hector Airport in Reed Township. Mr. Larson moved and Mrs. Wold seconded to adopt <br />a Resolution of Preliminary Approval for MIDA Financing; and Ordering a Public Hearing <br />and Notice Thereof. On roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously. Copy of said <br />resolution is on file in the office of the Cass County Auditor. <br /> <br />i <br />! <br />Joint Resolution i <br />adopted for i <br />establishing a I <br />Regional Airport I <br />Authority C <br /> <br />Mrs. Stanton moved and Mrs. Wold seconded that the following Joint Resolution <br />be adopted: <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it is necessary and desirable and in the public interest that a regional <br />airport be established by the City of Fargo, North Dakota, and Cass County, North Dakota, <br />for the use and benefit of the citizens of the same; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, state statutes require the adoption of a joint resolution by the <br />municipalities creating a regional airport authority; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City of Fargo, North Dakota, a municipal <br />corporation, and Cass County, North Dakota, a municipal corporation, do hereby create <br />I a public body, corporate and politic, to be known as the Fargo-Cass County Regional <br />i Airport Authority, which public body shall be authorized to exercise its functions <br />' on the issuance by the Secretary of State of North Dakota of a certificate of incorporation. <br /> <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the governing bodies adopting this joint resolution <br />, hereby appoint seven (7) persons as commissioners of said Regional Airport Authority, <br />I five (5) members to be appointed by the City of Fargo and two (2) members to be appointed <br />I by Cass County.
