D,_ 22"1~=-- REGULAR MEETING OF CASS COUNTY COMMISSIONERS JUNE 2, 1981 (TUESDAY) Chairman Hendrickson called the meeting to order and four members were present, Mrs. Wold being absent. An Invocation was given by the Chairman. Mrs. Stanton moved and Mr. Larson seconded that the minutes of the previous meeting ,be approved as written. Motion carried. \ The Board convened as the County Board of Tax Equalization. Clarence Miller, :County Director of Tax Equalization, stated that the first order of business is to review land equalize the assessments in the various cities in the County.' He recommended that the tassessments on commercial property remain the same for 1981 as equalized and returned Iby the various boards of equalization. On residential property, he recommended an !increase in assessments as follows to bring them up to the level of 9% of true and full Ivalue as defined by the current law: I ! Mr. Eckert moved and Mr. Larson seconded that utility permits be granted to Cass ;County Electric to bury cable on County Road 3 between Sections 32-33, Page Township; land on County Road 26 between Sections 32-5, Page-Rich Townships.
