Clerk of Court County Court Register of Deeds Sheriff $ 2,705.50 $2l,054.34 $ 7,800.50 $ 2,861.31 Mr. Sondrall moved and Mr. Satrom seconded that the Board cancel the taxes in the amount of $524.97 on Lot 10, Block 1, South of Track, City of Buffalo; and authorize the Chairman and the Auditor to sign the County Deed to the City of Buffalo for the purchase of this lot_, On roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously. Mr. Satrom moved and Mr. Sondrall seconded that the Chairman be authorized to sign the Statement of Assurances for Federal Revenue Sharing Funds. On roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously. Mrs. Wold moved and Mr. Satrom seconded that the Auditor be authorized to pay- estimate #6 to J. E. Krieg and Sons in the amount of $84,267.00 for work on the Courthouse addition. On roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously. Committee Reports were given. On motion by Mrs. Wold and seconded by Mr. Hendrickson, the meeting was adjourned. ADJOURNED MEETING OF CASS COUNTY COMMISSIONERS DECEMBER l7, 1980 Chairman Stan~on called the meeting to order and upon roll call, all members [were present. ! I Mr. Satrom moved and Mrs. Wold seconded that the minutes of the previous meeting ,be approved as written. Motion carried. :Corres. from Fgo. ! Several road matters were discussed with the County Road Superintendent. A letter City Commission iwas received from the Fargo City Commission stating that they had voted to reject rejecting portion/the Board's proposal to turn over to the city that portion of County Road 24 which is o~ C24.w~thin thelin the Fargo cit~ limit~. Mr. Grindberg stated that he will discuss the matter C~ty l~m~ts ;with the Fargo C~ty Eng~neer. I I i The Board received a draft copy of a booklet titled "Transportation -Today" !from the North Dakota State Highway Department for the B?ard's review and comment. :- Regarding the ditch problem in Amenia Township which was discussed on December 9th, iMr. Ordean Jacobson was not able to attend today as scheduled and asked that the matter Ibe postponed until a later date. Draft Copy of "Trans. Today" Ditch problem in Amenia Twp. delayed ,Proposal for Mr. Walt Ness, County Extension Agent, appeared before the Board with a proposal renting office ;for renting office space at 912-3rd Avenue South. The Board suggested delaying the space for Ext.Ag~imatter until after the legislature meets to see if they provide any tax relief to counties. Beer and Liq. Licenses apprvd. Appt. of Fred Selberg to Co. Planning Comm. Date set for making appts. Shff. reported on jail ventila- tion problem Mrs. Wold moved and Mr. Hendrickson seconded that the following applications for a 1981 Beer and Liquor License be approved: On roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously. Bison Steakhouse & Lounge, Inc. - Tower Township James Boisture ~ Everest Township Oxbow Country Club & Estates Hickson Bar and Lounge, Inc. Blotsky, Inc. - Wild Rice Red River Valley Fair Association (Beer Only) Mr. Hendrickson moved and Mr. Satrom seconded that Mr. Fred Selberg be appointed to the Cass County Planning Commission to complete the unexpired term of Mr. Lloyd Williams, which term expires January 1, 1982. On roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously. The Board set the date of December 3lst for making appointments to the Cass County School Reorganization Board for the terms of Jack Marcil and Roger Erickson; and to the Community Action Agency for the term of Steve Swiontek. The Sheriff reported on problems with the ventilation system in the County Jail.
