'.' ._._._._--'_.,_.,-_.__._----_._-~._._._-----------------.-.------------.------...--...-.-......- <br /> <br />ADJOURNED MEETING OF CASS COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />OCTOBER 15, 1980 <br /> <br />Chairman Stanton called the meeting to order and upon roll call, all members were <br />present. <br /> <br />Mr. Hendrickson moved and Mrs. Wold seconded that the minutes of the previous meeting <br />be 'approved as written. Motion carried. <br /> <br />Upon the recommendation of the Mayor of the City of Prairie Rose, Mrs. Wold moved <br />and Mr. Hendrickson seconded that Mr. Earle Lean be appointed to the Prairie Rose Planning <br />and Zoning Commission from their one-half mile extra territorial jurisdiction. <br />'On roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Mr. Hendrickson asked if anyone has arranged for the States Attorney to interpret <br />the letter from the Attorney General on the appointment of Mrs. Fred Hector to the <br />Fargo Planning Commission from their extra-territorial jurisdiction, and the matter <br />will be placed on the agenda in two weeks. <br /> <br />Mrs. Wold moved and Mr. Satrom seconded that the Application for a Gambling Permit <br />be granted to the Wild Rice Horse Shoe Club for a raffle to be held on January 21, 1981, <br />at the Watering Hole in Wild Rice. On roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Mrs. Wold moved and Mr. Satrom seconded that the Application for a Gambling Permit <br />for the Casselton Community Club to have pull tabs every Friday evening during the months <br />of December, 1980; January, February and March, 1981, at the Shamrock Bar in Everest <br />Township be referred to the States Attorney for her recommendation next Wednesday. <br />On roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Mr. Hendrickson moved and Mrs. Wold seconded that letters be sent from the Cass County <br />Commission to the North Dakota congressional delegation expressing the County's needs <br />for Federal Revenue Sharing funds to be appropriated for the coming year. Club delayec <br /> <br />'Letters to Con- <br />:gressmen on Fed. <br />vote, !Revenue Sharing <br /> <br />Mr. Hendrickson moved and Mrs. Wold seconded that the Cass County Commission adopt <br />a policy prohibiting. the display of political posters in the County buildings. <br />On roll call vote, the motion carried wit0 Mr. Satrom opposing. <br /> <br />Mr. P. C. Davidson from the F-M Ambulance Service, Inc. appeared to request <br />the Board's support in increasing the rates for emergency medical services. He stated <br />that there will be a lot of changes made as they are being requested to go into the <br />Advanced Life Support System, and several of his people will be training toward this <br />in November. He stated that he is proposing a rate increase effective November 1st, <br />and requests permission to increase the rates quite considerably in the next 15 months. <br />Mr. Hendrickson moved and Mrs. Wold seconded that the F-M Ambulance Services, Inc. <br />be authorized to increase their rates according to the schedule furnished by Mr. P. C. <br />Davidson. On roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Bids were received from the following for the purchase of automobiles for the <br />,Cass County Sheriff's Department: <br /> <br />W. W. Wallwork, Inc. <br />Corwin, Chrysler, Plymouth, <br />Hustad & Sons Auto Mart <br /> <br />Inc. <br /> <br />Mrs. Wold moved and Mr. Hendrickson seconded that the above bids be referred <br />to the Sheriff's Department for their recommendation next Wednesday. On roll call vote, <br />the motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />County Sanitarian Richard Brumfield reported to the Board that the open dump near <br />Amenia is in the process of being covered. <br /> <br />On motion by Mrs. Wold and seconded by Mr. Satrom, the meeting was adjourned. <br /> <br />ADJOURNED MEETING OF CASS COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />OCTOBER 22, 1980 <br /> <br />Vice Chairman Sondrall called the meeting to order and four members were present, <br />.
