Mrs. Wold moved and Mr. Hendrickson seconded that the County Auditor be authorized to pay the bill from J. E. Krieg and Sons in the amount of $407.00 and the bill from Architects Clark, Holman & Moorhead in the amount of $120.00 for exploratory excavation on the south side of the Courthouse. On roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously. Mrs. Wold moved and Mr. Hendrickson seconded that a gambling permit be issued to the Chaffee High School Senior Class for October 28, 1980, at the Chaffee High School. On roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously. Interviews were held with the following engineering firms who submitted proposals for the County Road 22 bridge project: Donald W. Richards Houston Engineering Moore Engineering Ulteig Engineers Mr. Hendrickson moved and Mr. Satrom seconded that the Board delay the decision on selecting an engineering firm for the County Road 22 bridge, and refer the proposals to the Road Superintendent for further investigation. Oh roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously. On motion by Mrs. Wold and seconded by Mr. Satrom, the meeting was adjourned. Hoehn - Auditor Cass County, North Dakota REGULAR MEETING OF CASS COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OCTOBER 7, 1980 Chairman Stanton called the meeting to order and upon roll call, all members were present. Mr. Satrom moved and Mrs. Wold seconded that the minutes of the previous meeting be approved as written. Motion carried. Discussion was held on selecting an engineering firm for the County Road 22 bridge project. The County Road Superintendent quoted percentages from previous projects involving engineering services. Mr. Marshall Moore was present and stated that it is difficult to submit a guaranteed lump sum figure for engineering services without a definite scope of work on the project. A decision will be made on October 8th. Committee Reports were given. Mrs. Wold moved and Mr. Hendrickson seconded that the following Officer's, Reports for September be received and filed: On roll call vote, the motion carried unanimoUSly. Upon the request of Tom Jensen, County Social Services Director, Mrs. Wold moved and Mr. Hendrickson seconded that Mr. Rainer Lobitz be authorized to attend a training session in Phoenix, Arizona, on October 13-17, 1980.
