On roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Abatement for Mr. Duane Grimstvedt appeared before the Board regarding his "application for Abatement <br />Duane Grimstvedtiand Settlement of Taxes for the year 1979. He felt that the appraisal on his property <br />denied lis about $100.00 higher than comparable homes in the township, but Mr. Miller stated <br />Ithat such other properties do not have additional buildings as Mr. Grimstvedt does. <br />~r. Miller suggested that for next year, Mr. Grimstvedt should go back to the Reed Township <br />iBoard and request a reappraisal of his property next spring. Upon the recommendation <br />jof Clarence Miller, Mr. Hendrickson moved and Mrs. Wold seconded that the abatement <br />!submitted by Duane Grimstvedt for the year 1979 be denied. Motion carried. <br /> <br />Steve Grindberg, County Road Superintendent, reported to the Board that the bridge <br />between Sections 35-36, Barnes Township, on 25th Street south of Fargo has been repaired <br />at a cost of approximately $1,500.00; and signs have been posted restricting the bridge <br />to car traffic only. <br /> <br />Larry Bosma auth. <br />to install <br />approach on C31 <br />in North River <br /> <br />Mr. Hendrickson moved and Mr. Satrom seconded that the Board grant permission to <br />Larry Bosma to install an approach with a culvert on County Road 31 from his two lots in <br />the City of North River, at no expense to Cass County. On roll call vote, the motion <br />carried unanimously. <br />
