On roll call i vote, the motion carried unanimously. i i i The Board continued to review the 1980-1981 County Budget. Mrs. Wold moved and Mr. I Hendrickson seconded that the amount left to be cut in order to balance the budget be taken i from the County Road Department budget request. After further discussion, the motion and I second were withdrawn. I I Mr. Hendrickson moved and Mr. Satrom seconded that the Board eliminate the st~p increase; in salaries for County employees, in the amount of approximately $60,000.00. On roll call I vote, the mo~ion carried with Mr. Sondrall and Mrs. Stanton opposing. I On motion by Mrs. Wold and seconded by Mr. Satrom, the meeting was adjourned. ADJOURNED MEETING OF CASS COUNTY COMMISSIONERS JULY 16, 1980 Chairman Stanton called the meeting to order and upon roll call, all members were present. Mr. Satrom moved and Mrs. Wold seconded that the minutes of the previous meeting be approved as written. Motion carried. The Board determined to meet at the County Road Department on Wednesday, August 6th, to discuss what road work can be done this year with the mon~y that is available. Discussion was held on placing an issue on the fall election ballot calling for an excess road levy which would be in addition to the 23 mills. The Chairman requested the Auditor and the States Attorney to draft the wording for the ballot.
