Mr. Hendrickson moved and Mrs. Wold seconded that the Preliminary Budget be published as printed. On roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously. Motion was made and seconded that the meeting be adjourned. REGULAR MEETING OF CASS COUNTY COMMISSIONERS JULY 2, 1980 Chairman Stanton called the meeting to order and upon roll call, all members were present. Mr. Hendrickson moved and Mrs. Wold seconded that the minutes of the previous meeting be approved as written. The motion carried with Mr. Satrom opposing the disaster designation. Mrs. Wold moved and Mr. Hendrickson seconded that the Chairman be authorized to sign the utility permit for Cass County Electric to bury cable in the NE~ of Section 28, Erie Township. The motion carried on roll call vote with Mr. Satrom opposing. Mr. Sondrall presented copies of a cost break-down for installing railroad crossing signals, in which the counties pay 10% of the cost. Upon the request of Drain Board Attorney Duane Breitling, Mr. Satrom moved and Mr. Sondrall seconded that the Chairman be authorized to sign three Quit Claim Deeds to the North Dakota State Highway Department for transferring Drain #3 right of way. On roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously. Resignation of Mr. Satrom moved and Mr. Sondrall seconded that the Board receive and file with regrets Julie Burgum as the resignation of Julie Burgum as 4-H Youth Counselor of Cass County effective August 1, 4-H Youth Counsel i980. On roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously. Arch. to be paid for 80% of their services on Cthse Addn. Letter re: Rape Crises Center Mr. Satrom moved and Mr. Sondrall seconded that the County to pay $34,486.76 to the firm of Clark, Holman and Moorhead for architectural services on the Cass County Courthouse addition. the motion carried unanimously. Mr. Dick Fuller, Superintendent of Public Works for the City of West Fargo, appeared before the Board regarding the poor condition of a bridge on 13th Avenue South over the Sheyenne River, which property was annexed by the City of West Fargo about a year ago. , The County Commission passed a motion on May 28, 1980, that the bridge will no longer i be the County's responsibility since the property was annexed into the City of West Fargo, ! but they did not reveive notification of this. Mr. Grindberg stated that he would like i to see the County assist the City of West Fargo in this instance because he has received ! cooperation from them in the past. He stated that he has some used planks and it would i cost about $5,000.00 to replank it as a temporary solution. Mr. Hendrickson moved and I Mr. Satrom seconded that the County offer assistance to the City of West Fargo on this I bridge, and that a load restriction be placed on it.
