PROCEEDINGS OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF CASS COUNTY, NORTH DAKOTA 58:J9 John Hensrud and JoAnn Strack from the Metropolitan Council of Governments presented alternatives to the Board for a proposed Interstate 94 interchange by the West Acres Shopping Center. Mr. Hendrickson moved and Mrs. Wold seconded that the Board accept the recommendation of the Metropolitan Council of Governments and the ~ass County Planning Commission at their meeting of February 13th for the 45th Street ~nterchange. On roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously. Bid opening was held at 10:00 A.M. for the Road Department yearly supplies. The following bids were received for ready mix concrete: Ames Sand & Gravel F-M Ready Mix The following bids were received for metal culverts: Basin Steel, Inc. Westeel, Inc. H. V. Johnston Culvert Company Fargo Culvert Company The following bids were received for grader blades: Paper-Calmenson & Company Northwestern Equipment Butler Machinery Company The following bids were received for bridge material: Basin Steel, Inc. Wheeler Division - St. Regis Paper Company The following bids were received for asphalt products: F-M Asphalt, Inc. Northern Improvement Wm. Collins, Inc. Hydrocarbon Specialties, Inc. Midwest Excavating Company The following bids were received for pre-cast concrete pipe and arches: North Dakota Concrete Products Company Concrete Sectional Culvert Company Hancock Concrete Products Company The following bid was received for structural and reinforcing steel: Fargo Tank Company The following bid was received for gasoline and diesel fuel: Dan's Oil and Service Mrs. Wold moved and Mr. Hendrickson seconded that the above bids be received and referred to the County Road Department for tabulation and recommendation. iOn roll call vote, the motion Carried unanimously. Mr. Hendrickson moved and Mrs. Wold seconded that the bids received from Conoco, Inc. on asphalt products and from Barco Municipal Products, Inc. on grader blades be returned unopened because the bids were not in compliance with Section 11-11-28 of the North Dakota Century Code whereby all bids must now be accompanied by a separate envelope containing the bidder's bond. On roll call vote, the motion carried 'unanimously. Mrs. Wold moved and Mr. Satrom seconded that the Board grant the application for a gambling permit for the Hickson Men's Softball Team for a raffle to be held on March 17, 1980. On roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously. On motion by Mrs. Wold and seconded by Mr. Satrom, the meeting was adjourned.
