Motion carried. i I Upon the recommendation of Steve Grindberg, County Road Superintendent, Mrs. Stanton iCass Co. Electric- moved and Mrs. Wold seconded that the Chairman be authorized to sign the utility permit with lutility permit Cass County Electric to bury cable under County Road 31 in Section 13 of Harwood Township. !signed on C31 in The motion carried on a roll call vote with all members voting "Aye". Isec .13 Harwood Tw]; Mr. Grindberg repdrted that he had received a cost estimate from Moore Engineering, Inc.!Bridge in Section for about $55,000.00, which would be added to the Federal Flood Disaster Funds of $80,000.00,:30 and 31 of Reed for the replacement of a bridge in Sections 30 and 31 of Reed Township. The motion carried on a roll call Vote with 1 all members voting "Aye II . i i Discussion was held with Sheriff Don Rudnick regarding the care of stray dogs in the ISheriff's Dept.-- County. Upon the request of Sheriff Rudnick, Dr. Christian from the Valley Veterinary Cliniqcontract with appeared to request that the present contract with the Sheriff's Department be transferred IValley Vet. to be to the Humane Society at a total cost to the County of $2,400.00 a year. Mr. Hendrickson jtransferred to moved and Mrs. Wold seconded that the offer of $2,400.00 be accepted. Upon motion by Mrs. Stanton and second by Mrs. Wold, the meeting was adjourned. Stanton seconded that the Rail Crossing Signing Program be accepted at an estlmated maXlmum cost to the County of $6,272.00.
