Upon the recommendation of Sheriff Donald RudniCk, Mrs. Wold moved and Mrs. Stanton seconded that the County accept the low bid of Corwin-Chrysler Plymouth, Inc. for four automobiles for the Sheriff's Department in the amount of $6,994.00 per unit. Motion carriec Mrs. Stanton moved and Mrs. Wold seconded that the Chairman be authorized to sign the Grant Award and Acceptance from the Law Enforcement Council for the Work Release Coordinator at the County Jail. Motion carried. Upon the recommendation of the committee on code revisions, Mrs. Stanton moved and Mr. Hendrickson seconded that the Board of Cass County Commissioners set the fOllowing fees for sewage installations to be effective May 1, 1979, when the revised codes will become effective: $100.00 annual license fee and a $4,000.00 bond for on-site sewage disposal installers and pumpers; a $30.00 fee for individual sewage systems, a $20.00 fee for alterations to the system and $100.00 for community sewage systems. Motion carried. Mr. Brumfield stated that he made a survey of the flood situation in many of the rural subdivisions. The Commissioners stated that they would like to view these subdivisions with Mr. Brumfield after the rivers have reached their predicted crest. Roesler, Kent Roesler and Lyle Roesler be received, filed and referred to Leonard TownShip. Motion carried. Attorney Jonathan Garaas explained the proposed lease agreement between the Red River Valley Fair Association and Cass County as. lessors and the Cass County Board of Park Commissioners as lessee for the proposed campsite at the fairgrounds. Mr. Hendrickson moved and Mrs. Stanton seconded that the Chairman be authorized to sign the lease agreement for the campsite, subject to insertion of the following on the amount of liability insurance: "minimum amount as required by Cass County in its normal insurance coverage". Motion carried. On motion by Mr. Hendrickson and seconded by Mrs. Stanton, the meeting was adjourned. ADJOURNED MEETING OFCASS COUNTY COMMISSIONERS APRIL 25, 1979 Chairman Satrom called the meeting to order and upon roll call, all members were present. Mrs. Wold moved and Mr. Hendrickson seconded that the minutes of the previous meeting be approved as written. Motion carried. The County Road Superintendent reported that there has been a lot of damage on Township and County ro'ads due to flooding, but the Road Department cannot begin to repair these roads at this time. Gordon Sletmoe, Disaster Emergency Services Director, gave a preliminary estimate of $2,098,305.00 in flood damages throughout the County received to date. Richard Moorhead, Architect for the Courthouse office space project, appeared to review , their progress made thus far. Assistant States Attorney Joe Turman was present regarding ! the proposed Owner/Architect agreement. The Board asked Mr. Turman to further discuss ,. the proposed agreement with Architect Richard Moorhe.ad, and bring it back to the Board next Wednesday. Grant appl. for.
