~i~cussion.was held on the proposed Re~ional Airport Authority. The townships

Discussion was also held concerning the funds that the County contributes to the
Garrison Diversion Conservancy District each year. Mr. Sondrall felt that if Garrison
Diversion could cut the County's funding in half starting this year, that money could help
toward the Regional Airport Authority. The County Auditor read Section 61-24-02 of the
North Dakota Century Code wherein the Garrison Diversion Conservancy District was created.
Mr. Hendric~son stated that he does not know what reserves are in the Garrison budget,
but there w:Lll be a meeting of the Conservancy District in Lakota the first part of April
which he will be attending.

Req. for County Mr. Melvin Gangness appeared before the Board to request financial assistance
to help pave twp. from the County for paving one mile of township road west of County Road 11 to the Church
road in Berlin in Section 18, Berlin Township. The County Auditor informed the Board that most of the
Twp. leading to . road construction funds are already committed for the next fiscal year beginning
Church in Sec. 18) July 1, 1979. Mr. Hendrickson stated that this could possibly be considered on the
! proposed 5-year construction program if the County determines that they may be
i obligated to spend money paving a township road. Mr. Satrom stated that the County
does have a policy on graveling for churches, and he suggested that Mr. Gangness
discuss this with the County Road Superintendent.
