Contacted other local human service agencies and private businesses <br /> f. Expanded Manufacturing Advisory Committee to 9 members <br /> g. Mailings sent to appropriate agencies and individuals <br /> <br />Instructor Selection <br /> a. Met with 18 potential instructors <br /> b. Interviewed and selected 7 instructors for training <br /> <br />Instmctor Training <br /> a. Curriculum review <br /> b. Training for 7/8/02 start date. <br /> <br />Enrollment Process <br /> a. Referral process established <br /> b. Started weekly TABE testing May 23 to determine 6~ grade rending and math <br /> level. <br /> c. Complete interest inventory, needs assessment, budget resource sheet. <br /> <br />6. Schedule <br /> a. First course to be complete by mid-summer 2002 <br /> b. Classroom training scheduled July 8, 2002 through July 26, 2002. <br /> <br />Grant-writing Options for Continuing Program in 2003 <br /> a. Submitted funding request, Incentive Award Funds, State of North Dakota <br /> (attached letter) <br /> <br />Community Advisory Committee <br /> a. Recruited and established six member committee (2 manufacturing employers) <br /> a. Held initial organizational meeting on June 11, 2002 <br /> b.
