So,,a~. ~.n ~o~ 2~ RECEIVED 2 2002 CASS COUNTY COMMLSS~ON July 31, 2002 To: Cass County Commission From: Brad Cogdill, Extension Agent/Chair RE: Additional Information/Request for Parenting Resources Center Grants Request Two additional pieces of information have become available regarding the Parenting Resources Center program grants. In my earlier letter I stated that the NDSU Extension Service requested, and has been approved to receive, $60,000 in support of thc four Parenting Resource Center programs in North Dakota. The request was made to the North Dakota Department of Human Services, Children and Family Service Division, Child Protection Program and was approved. As a resuh, $15,000 has been allocated to our program headquartered out of the Cass County Extension Office. Contrary to what I stated in my previous letter, I am requesting that Cass County serve as fiscal agent for this new grant resource. The budget adjuslment necessary to support the Parenting Resources Center for the remainder of this fiscal year (July 1, 2002-December 31, 2002) is $21,663. I would ask that the auditor's office be instructed to adjnst the revenue and expenditure lines by fils amount. I am not available to attend the Commission meeting on Monday August 5th. I will be attending an Extension Service Leadership Team meeting in central North Dakota on that date.
