<br />Commission Minutes--July 1, 2002 2456 <br /> <br />REGULAR MEETING OF CASS COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br />r- JULY 1, 2002 <br /> <br />1. MEETING TO ORDER <br />Chairman Alan Wieland called the meeting to order at 3:30 PM with all members present as <br />follows: John Meyer, Donna Schneider, Scott Wagner, Robyn Sorum and Alan Wieiand. <br /> <br />2. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE <br />Chairman Wieiand asked Donna Schneider to lead the Pledge of Allegiance at this time. <br /> <br />3. MINUTES APPROVED <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Meyer moved and Mrs. Sorum seconded that the minutes of the <br />previous meeting of June 3rd be approved as written. Motion carried. <br /> <br />4. AGENDA, Order approved <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mrs. Schneider moved and Mr. Wagner seconded to approve the order of <br />the agenda with the following changes: 1) adding two contracts for the <br />Highway Department to the consent agenda; and 2) adding a joint powers <br />agreement for 911 wireless fee implementation to the regular agenda. <br />Motion carried. <br /> <br />~ <br /> <br />5. VETERANS SERVICE, Letter of commendation to Beth Fischer <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Meyer moved and Mrs. Sorum seconded to authorize the chairman to <br />sign a letter of commendation to Beth Fischer, who is retiring after 32% <br />years of service In the Cass County Veterans Service Office. On roll call <br />vote, the motion carried unanimously. Mrs. Fischer was present to receive <br />the letter and a plaque In recognition of her years of service. Her <br />husband, Bob, was also present. <br /> <br />6. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #2002-10, CommendinQ Gib Bromenschenkel for public service <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Meyer moved and Mrs. Sorum seconded to approve Resolution #2002- <br />10 commending Gib Bromenschenkel for his 32 years of public service on <br />the Fargo City Commission. On roll call vote, the motion carried <br />unanimously. <br /> <br />7. <br /> <br />COMMISSION POLICY MANUAL, Amend Section 4.00.
